4th day in Berlin, Germany at Haus am checkpoint charlie

Its morning Thursday, April 16, 2009 and we both got up and got ready to go out and cruise around Berlin, because today is the last day we're going to stay in Berlin so we went and find this one building called Haus am checkpoint charlie and it is a museum. The address is Friedrichstrabe 43-45 10969 Berlin. The Museum first started as an exhibition on the Berlin Wall, on October 19, 1962 in an a small two-room apartment on the Bernauer Strabe, one of the Berlin streets divided into east and west by the Wall. The Museum Haus am Checkpoint Charlie opened on June 14, 1963. As you see in this picture it's a big building and old but it's a nice place to go visit. Later on we went out to this restaurant called Restaurant Mario and it's a Northern Italian restaurant. We both order chicken w/fresh fish simply grilled and it costs us 21 euro each person. Then after eating we both went back and take our rest for the last night in Berlin.

3rd day in berlin, germany at Alte Nationalgalerie

Its morning Tuesday, April 14, 2009 and we both woke up at 7 a.m to get ready to go out and hang around Berlin. We finished getting ready at 8 a.m. then we both got out of our dorm/hostel and went to check out this one place called Alte Nationalgalerie. The alte is like a museum that has a bunch of art pieces made from many different artists. After we got done visiting the alte we went out to go eat at Ganyem and it's a french restaurant. We both order green pea soup, ginger-flavored carrot soup, lobster blinis on vanilla cream, salad, fish and poultry including garlic, and potatoes. Then after eating we both went back to our dorm to go take our rest for the night.

2nd day in Berlin, Germany at Berliner Dom

Its morning Friday, April 3, 2009 and its the first time we both are going to got out and check out what does Germany have that are different from California. So went went and look around and saw a place have this one nice and big dom building called Berliner Dom. The berliner dom was the first church built on the site of the current Cathedral was a 1465 church. The building, which later served as the court church for the Hohenzollern family was replaced by a cathedral, built between 1745 and 1747 in Baroque design from Johann Boumann. It was reconstructed into a classicist building from 1816 to 1822 following a design by the Berlin architect Karl Friedrich Schinkel. After looking at the dom we both went out and eat at this one place called[(restaurant name)]. Then after eating then we both went back to our dorm to take our rest for the night.

1st day in Germany, Berlin at Amadeus Hostel Berlin

We arrive in Germany at 5 p.m. on Thursday, April 2 ,2009 and we are finding us a hostel to cool down. The weather in Berlin, Germany is different from Sacramento, CA. We found our hostel in Berlin called Amadeus Hostel Berlin and it took us 30 min. after we got out of our flights. The hostel cost $5.85 euro per person. We decided to get that hostel because it was the cheapest. They gave us the keys to our dorm and we started to unpacked and organize our stuff until 6 p.m. so it was like an hour to get our stuff together. Then later on we went out to eat in Hallo Berlin Menu and we both order Wienerwurst Orig.Hotdog beef/pork, volkswagen and it cost $4 each. After eating dinner it was already 6:30 so we both just went back to our hostel and got some rest.
